The new office is located in the gorgeous office building-- Kenwood Center, just off I-71 in the Kenwood area. Our new office is easily accessible to downtown,Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport and other major highways.

Rob Richardson Jr.: 2013 Jeffery Hurwitz Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award honoree

Rob Richardson JR. has been selected as a 2013 Jeffery Hurwitz Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award honoree! The Jeffrey Hurwitz Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award is an award given to a UC graduate, 35 years of age or younger, on the basis of significant professional achievement in his or her field of endeavor, and continued service and involvement with the university and community. This award is in honor and memory of Jeffrey Hurwitz, BBA ’72, and MBA ’73, former president of the UC Alumni Association.

This event is scheduled for  Thursday, June 13; at 6 p.m. reception, and 7 p.m. dinner program. It will be held at Kingsgate Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, 151 Goodman Drive, Cincinnati  •  513-487-3800.

R&A Helped a Large Petroleum Company Obtain $1.3 million Grant!

The United States Department of The Treasury just awarded over $1.3 million to our client a large petroleum company for the completion of the Solar Panel Project. We are proud to be a part of this Federally recognized Specified Energy Property. The owner of Auto Gym-- Dinita Smith(Dee Dee) made a wonderful presentation about a creative and potentially profitable business idea--7/24 car repair services at the Shark Pool hosted by African American Chamber and won over $50,000 investment from the panel including Daymond John, an investor on the ABC TV show, “Shark Tank” and Founder of FUBU and a couple of local business investors.

Judging A Taste of Cincinnati

 I was honored to be asked to Judge the 2012 A Taste of Cincinnati. I know this will be one of the best Taste of Cincinnati in a long time. I was asked to judge the seafood category and man I had some great dishes to taste.

Thirty area restaurants served more than 80 dishes to some of the most discerning taste buds in Cincinnati USA on May 7. They were competing at Best of Taste, the region's most prestigious annual culinary competition and precursor to Taste of Cincinnati. We - named the Crab & Shrimp Dumpling with Noodle from Arloi Dee Thai Bistro as the Best Damn Dish. The award is for the most votes via blind taste tests of all the dishes entered into the competition, as a former owner of A Taste of Sherri’s that dish was great.  I Also liked the fish and chips. And Mahogany’s, Shrimp and Grits, if you get to the taste of Cincinnati earl,y make this your breakfast dish it had bacon bits with shrimp, a really different and good dish!

 Sherri Richardson -  2012 Women of Distinction Award

 The Woman of Distinction Awards Reception is an annual fundraising event honoring women leaders in the greater Cincinnati region, who demonstrate strong initiative and personal leadership on issues relating to women and girls. Proceeds from the Woman of Distinction Reception support Girl Scouts of Western Ohio program activities to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Richardson & Associates received the U.S. Chamber of 

 Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award. 

It was a very competitive award and as a Blue Ribbon Award winner, we are entered into the running for the Community Excellence Award. This award is determined by votes from the community. This award is determined by votes from the community and recognizes small businesses , which have been leaders in job creation, community involvement, and best business practices.   Award date May 23, 2012.

 Theresa Harper is the recipient of the Cincinnati NAACP Distinguished Service Award.

As an accountant with Richardson & Associates, where she is business development manager and auditor, she has volunteered with Accounting for Kids, Adopt a Class, and as a youth advisor and chair of the NAACP’s Afro- Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACTSO). She is active at her church, Quinn Chapel AME, and as a member of the Diversity Parents Group at Fairfield High School.

Senator Eric Kearney (D) OH- 9th District to write a bill that protects children who are victims of abuse.

Richardson & Associates, in a joint effort with a non-profit organization,the Association of Incest and Rape Survivors (AIRS)  collaborated with the Senator to write a bill which ensures the protection of children against further victimization.
